Conservative host calls out growing ‘Barrett Derangement Syndrome’ on the right

Radio host Erick Erickson is one of the few conservative voices speaking out in defense of Supreme Court Justice Amy Coney Barrett.

As BizPac Review reported yesterday, SiriusXM host Megyn Kelly ripped the judge up and down for siding with her liberal counterparts on mail-in voting. Kelly is not impressed with her track record on the court, and made it clear that she wished the conservative judges were as reliable as the liberal ones.

“Justice Amy Coney Barrett, a Trump appointee. She’s supposed to be one of ours! Why do ours- why are they always so wiggly? Honestly, like, the libs you can take it to the bank,” Kelly ranted. “Kagan, Sotomayor, Ketanji Brown Jackson, I have to admire their commitment to their side. They never abandon their side. Only in the most obvious cases when they’d just get killed if they didn’t, in terms of the blowback, the rhetorical blowback. But they stick together! Amy Coney Barrett is a turncoat. She’s constantly siding with the left.”

While there were many people in the comments expressing their agreement, Erickson has taken a different approach to addressing the ACB controversy. He addressed a post by Matt Walsh that called her a “DEI hire” and a “terrible pick” by listing her more conservative victories from the bench.

Gave President Trump immunity from prosecution.

Matt is like the lib that was harassing Weiner at the Pride parade- telling him to leave because he was “excellent for trans rights but silent on Gaza.” Barrett makes a ruling Matt disagrees with and therefore she’s a liberal justice? Ridiculous.
