‘This is some s***!’ Kamala Harris releases footage from election night 2016 when Trump won

2020 Democratic presidential candidate and California senator Kamala Harris decided to release some never-before-seen footage from the night that President Donald Trump was elected.

The video was recorded on the night that she also won her Senate seat where she spoke to her supporters not just about her victory, but the subsequent realization that Donald Trump was going to the White House. She wasted no time jumping on the fear-mongering bandwagon, even going as far as to claim that her young godson Alexander was “teary” and asking if Trump won the election. According to Harris, the young man didn’t “want Trump to win.”

“So we just had a small family dinner,” she states in the video. “And many of you have met my nephew, my godson, Alexander. So Alexander came up to me about 20 minutes ago, and he was teary. And I didn’t know if one of the other kids had kinda done something, I didn’t know what was going on. I said ‘Come here little man, what’s going on?’ And he looked up at me, I swear to God, he looked up at me and he said ‘I don’t want Trump to win. Did he win?’ And this — and he’s crying.”

She goes on to say of Trump’s potential election: “This is some s***.”

And… so those tears of joy we shed when we elected Barack Obama, and then my little godson’s tears tonight ’cause we might have elected Donald Trump, this is some shi*t.

From the outset, Harris was prepared to fight President Trump and his agenda, regardless of the opinions of the tens of millions of Americans who elected him. She even likened herself to a superhero who is going to “fight back” against the “bad guys,” which was a not-so-subtle jab at the president and (presumably) Republicans.

Perhaps this long-standing anger toward the president explains why she wants his Twitter account banned, why she attempted to downplay the al-Baghdadi mission, and why she chose to withdraw from a criminal justice forum that had given him an award. (An event that she would later attend, giving a half-baked excuse for her failed boycott.)

Her inexplicable contempt for Trump and her complete lack of willingness to work with him to advance American interests is on full display in the above video, leaving one to wonder if stubbornness and partisanship are her only “leadership” qualities.

For all of her brave talk on that night in November 2016, Harris is not seeing the same support for her current presidential campaign. In fact, she was recently forced to cut several positions and reinvest resources into other states, including the swing state of Iowa. She also attempted to get her campaign back into good financial standing by cutting pay to her own campaign manager as well as consultants.

Maybe it wasn’t a Freudian slip when a liberal audience cheered that they aren’t ready for a President Harris.
