Thugs in the Brooklyn borough of New York City vandalized NYPD squad cars on Halloween by covering them with trash as bystanders mocked police officers by shouting, “Trick or treat, motherf***ers!”

In the video, residents and passersby are heard laughing and taunting two police officers as they remove trash from their vehicle.

The man filming the video says: “This is what happens in the hood. Police get trash!”

One of the cops is heard saying that disrespecting the police in this manner only hurts other Brooklyn residents who need help.

“A lot of people call 911 in this neighborhood,” the officer said. “They’re holding us up.”

The Halloween night vandalism was followed the next day (Nov. 1) by protests in downtown Brooklyn, according to the New York Post.

A thousand anti-police protesters vandalized a city bus and yelled profanities at cops to protest the recent police crackdown on subway-fare evaders.

Thugs vandalized a bus with the words “F—k NYPD!” and “NYPD KKK!” scrawled on the side.

Protesters held up large banners that read “F—k the police!” and “Don’t let these pigs touch us!”

Rabid mobs protested the subway laws by hopping the turnstiles en masse and calling the police racist for enforcing the law.

These latest incidents are an escalation of the increasing disrespect toward cops in New York City under anti-police mayor Bill de Blasio.

In July 2019, NYPD officers were doused with water and pelted with buckets.

In one shocking video, a thug throws a bucket at the head of a police officer while he’s making an arrest in Harlem, New York as a mob of bystanders mock him.

In a recent statement, the Police Benevolent Association of New York blamed lawmakers who foment violence against cops by repeatedly demonizing and trashing law enforcement.

“Our anti-cop lawmakers have gotten their wish: the NYPD is now frozen…We are approaching the point of no return.”

Given this spike in open criminality across New York City, it’s no wonder that President Donald Trump changed his residency from New York to Florida.

It’s not just local police officers who are now being attacked in broad daylight.

As BizPac Review reported, Border Patrol officers in Texas were punched and kicked by illegal aliens who rushed the US-Mexico border.

A CBP official said border patrol agents had to use tear gas and pepper spray to curb the mob rampage when gangs of illegals rushed the Rio Grande bridge in three separate waves.

A Border Patrol official said: “Several males in the group disregarded commands to stop and physically pushed through the barriers. When confronted by CBP officers, the combative individuals began assaulting the officers by punching, kicking, and attempting to grab the officers’ protective devices.”
