Black student asks Biden advice on getting stopped by police and ‘awkward’ is just the beginning

Democrat presidential candidate Joe Biden appears to believe that white women are never, ever, ever pulled over by the police for traffic stops. Never!

He expressed this factually incorrect and arguably racist belief while answering a question at the Second Step Presidential Justice Forum on Saturday.

“If I were your daughter, what advice would you give me the next time I am stopped by the police?” a young black audience member asked him during the event.

He replied by resorting to racial grievance-mongering and pandering.

Watch:

“If you were my daughter, you’d be a Caucasian girl and you wouldn’t be pulled over,” he said. “That’s what’s wrong. Institutional racism should no longer exist. As president, I’ll put forward change to help put an end to it.”

His pandering remark was so grossly wrong that, though it, of course, earned praise from the fact-free left, it provoked incredulity from those not blinded by ideology.

“@JoeBiden is a sick individual. If anyone is trying to cause a racial divide in this country, it’s him & his deranged Socialist/Communist Party formerly known as Democrats. Can’t these people see he’s pandering for votes. Do they really think white people don’t get pulled over??‍♀️,” one critic opined on Twitter.

Apparently, they really do.

Not only that, but contemporary Democrats also seem to believe that there’s no such thing as a poor white person, never mind mountains of contradicting evidence.

“When you’re white, you don’t know what it’s like to be living in a ghetto,” fellow 2020 candidate Sen. Bernie Sanders said while campaigning unsuccessfully for the Democrat nomination during the last presidential election three years ago.

“You don’t know what it’s like to be poor. You don’t know what it’s like to be hassled when you walk down the street or you get dragged out of a car.”

Look at some of the backlash against Biden below:

This sort of pandering and disingenuous grievance-mongering has become standard-fare among Democrats, who seem to believe that the key to winning the party’s nomination is to besmirch white people (including white cops).

While such antics may win them the nomination, it’s unclear whether smearing the majority of the country will win them the presidency. Biden appears to be particularly fond of this strategy nevertheless.

Two months ago he asserted that racism is a “white man’s problem” and suggested that only whites can be racist.

“It’s a white man’s problem. White men are responsible for it, not black men,” he said.

Fact-check: FALSE.

One month later, he falsely declared that white people “can never fully understand” racism.

Listen:

These incessant observations about “white people” are themselves inherently racist and wholly antithetical to deceased civil rights leader Martin Luther King Jr.’s vision of a world where individuals would be judged by their character and merit (or lack thereof), not by the color of their skin.

This isn’t to suggest that Biden’s daughter would be treated just the same as everybody else. Many seem to believe that she would indeed receive preferential treatment from the cops — but not because of her skin color, but rather because of her last name, i.e., the same last name shared by Hunter Biden
