Green teen Greta scolds Iowans on climate: ‘Children know better than adults’

Teen climate change activist Greta Thunberg suggested last week that teenagers and children such as her know better than the world’s grown adult leaders, including President Donald Trump.

“We teenagers and children shouldn’t have to take the responsibility [for dealing with climate change,] but right now, the world leaders keep acting like children, and somebody needs to be the adult in the room,” she lectured to a crowd of supporters on Friday at a climate event in Iowa City.

She made the bombastic remarks while complaining about the “failed” U.N. General Assembly. She appeared to be upset that world leaders have chosen to ignore the hysterical speech she delivered during a climate change-themed summit at the assembly last September.

She also seemed to be upset that world leaders have also chosen to ignore the global climate change-themed protests/dance parties that her panic-stricken speech inspired.

“Last week and the week before that, well over seven million people joined the climate strikes,” her rant on Friday began. “We told world leaders to act on the science and we demanded a safe future for us and for everyone, but they didn’t listen.”

“As we all know the human climate action summit was a failure. That was unfortunately what we had expected. To stand behind and speak the science is still too uncomfortable for them. That needs to change,” she continued. “No matter what, we need to continue. No matter how hopeless this situation may seem like, we must always carry on. We must never allow ourselves to give up. That is simply not an option.”

Thunberg then delivered the line about teenagers and children.

While some may believe she herself deserves to be scolded for displaying such apparent arrogance and disrespect, others have warned that she herself is a victim.

Thunberg reportedly suffers from a bevy of conditions, including autism, selective mutism and obsessive compulsive disorder, not to mention the emotional fragility seen in any hormonal child. This is relevant because those with Asperger’s are especially susceptible to brainwashing.

“Aspies are especially vulnerable to the appeal of destructive cults,” Steven Hassan, a well-recognized mental health counselor who’s appeared on “60 Minutes,” “Nightline” and “Deadline,” noted in a piece for the Freedom of Mind Resource Center two years ago.

Aspie is is a nickname for someone with Asperger syndrome, the form of autism that Thunberg happens to suffer from.

“The explicit, rigid rules and structure of the typical cult can be appealing to someone with ASD,” Hassan’s piece continued, referencing autism spectrum disorder, an umbrella term used to refer to the full range of autistic disorders, including Asperger syndrome.

“Cults also often provide a ready social group of people who ‘love bomb’ or lavish potential recruits and new members with positive attention … One Aspie I know spent more than 20 years and hundreds of thousands of dollars in Scientology going up the so-called ‘Bridge to Total Freedom.’ With all their grids, steps, and ‘scientific’ courses, I can see how people with ASD and intellectuals, in general, would be attracted to Scientology,” the piece continued. “As with anyone who gets recruited into a destructive mind control cult, it may take several years to realize that it’s all a lie, and will not give you the promised superpowers or total enlightenment.”

Thunberg has described her autism as a “superpower.”

Speaking on Fox News late last month about Thunberg’s bizarre rants, renowned conservative commentator Michael Knowles argued that the speeches are being driven not by actual science (despite her claims otherwise) but rather by the propaganda that’s been spoon-fed to her by exploitative members of the far-left, including her own wealthy socialite parents.

“There was a study that came out in 2015 which showed that meatless diets are actually far worse for the environment than the regular meat-filled diets,” he said.

“They increase emissions, they increase energy use, water use, but none of that matters because the climate hysteria movement is not about science,” he said. “If it were about science it would be led by scientists rather than by politicians and a mentally ill Swedish child who is being exploited by her parents and by the international left.”

Though this honest analysis triggered backlash from both left-wing activists (including the one who appeared on FNC alongside him at the time) and even Fox News, which chose to end its relationship with Knowles, his argument seemed to be perfectly valid.

Thunbeg has been so brainwashed into the “climate change cult,” as even the co-founder of Greenpeace has called it, that she genuinely believes the world is headed toward an imminent “mass extinction” and that climate change has “stolen my dreams and my childhood.”

It’s not usual for a child who “lives in the healthiest, wealthiest, safest, and most peaceful era humans have ever known” — and whose own family is filthy rich — to speak in such a dystopian fashion.
