Black unemployment tumbled to a record low in August under the Trump administration — fueled by plunging unemployment among black women.
The unemployment rate for black workers fell from 6% in July to 5.5 % in August, according to newly released data from the Department of Labor.
This latest record smashed the previous record low of 5.9% for black unemployment that was set in May 2018.
Notably, unemployment among black women in the United States plunged to 4.4% in August — down from 5.2% in July.
Overall unemployment among Americans remains at 3.7 %, unchanged from three months ago.
About 130,000 new jobs were added in August, about 30,000 fewer jobs than in July. However, U.S. labor force participation rate rose from 63% in July to 63.2% in August.
African-American Trump supporters celebrated the milestone, saying Trump “is making America greater than it’s ever been!”
In July, Iraq War veteran Rob Smith — a black Trump supporter who’s openly gay — praised President Trump for the efforts he has made to lift the black community.
“Black unemployment is at a historic low,” Smith wrote at Fox News. “In Detroit, for example, the unemployment rate is so low that employers are taking a softer stance towards hiring ex-convicts than they had in the past.”
“I think Democrats use identity politics to keep people in line.”

Smith added: “And black entrepreneurs now have a better shot at starting small businesses of their own that have the potential to grow and create new jobs.”
Smith said the left’s constant screeching, calling President Trump “racist” belies the actions he has taken to help black Americans.
Rob Smith also said he wishes the Democratic Party — which claims to be the champions of minorities — would spent as much time helping the black community as they do attacking Trump.
“I know what it’s like to to be consistently let down by elected officials – usually Democrats – who promise they will make things better for poor folks, but never deliver all they promise,” Smith wrote.
“The skin color of black elected officials…shouldn’t shield them from criticism for failing to do enough for their constituents of all races.”
Imagine how much better the black community could be doing if black lawmakers actually prioritized them over illegal aliens.
As BizPac Review reported, a black female Trump supporter eviscerated Democrat Congresswoman Maxine Waters, saying her pro-illegal immigration policies have destroyed the black community.
“Maxine Waters destroyed the black community! She has to go! She lied to the black community, saying she was going to bring us jobs. She gave those jobs to illegal criminals! We want her out!”
The black Trump supporter said she’s disgusted that the 15-term Congresswoman race-baits to gain support among blacks, whom Waters uses for votes and then callously ignores after they re-elect her.
The woman said: “People are tired with your hate and your racism! All the jobs went to illegals! You have destroyed the black community!”
