Trump brazenly takes on critics in fiery, passionate presser about freshmen four: ‘They hate our country’

The feud between President Donald Trump and several Dem congresswomen intensified on Monday afternoon during a press conference held on the south lawn of the White House.

“They are very unhappy,” Trump told reporters. The president was referring to Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-MN), Rep. Ayana Pressley (D-MA), Rep. Rashida Tlaib (D-MI), and Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY), all of whom have gone after the president following a tweet he sent out saying about the liberal congresswomen, “Why don’t they go back and help fix the totally broken and crime infested places from which they came?”

“I’m watching them, all they do is complain,” Trump said on Monday about the lawmakers in defense of his comments. “All I’m saying, if they want to leave, they can leave.”

Trump went on to single out Omar. He called her “somebody from Somalia” and added that she is “never happy, says horrible things about Israel, hates Israel, hates Jews.” The president seems to reference here Omar’s past controversial comments on Israel and Jewish people.

“I look at the one, I look at Omar,” he also said. “I don’t know, I never met her. I hear the way she talks about Al Qaeda. Al Qaeda has killed many Americans.”

With those comments, Trump appeared to be referencing Omar’s controversial statement where she downplayed the events of 9/11.

The president then added, “They can leave, and you know what? I’m sure there will be many people that want to miss them.”

Trump went on to say that these congresswomen he is feuding with “hate our country … with a passion.” He added that it would be a mistake for the Democrat Party to follow these four leftists.

Trump previously cemented his dislike for the lawmakers in a series of tweets on Sunday evening.

“So sad to see the Democrats sticking up for people who speak so badly of our Country and who, in addition, hate Israel with a true and unbridled passion. Whenever confronted, they call their adversaries, including Nancy Pelosi, ‘RACIST,'” he tweeted.

He continued, “Their disgusting language and the many terrible things they say about the United States must not be allowed to go unchallenged. If the Democrat Party wants to continue to condone such disgraceful behavior, then we look even more forward to seeing you at the ballot box in 2020!”

Those comments came after Trump said about the women, “Why don’t they go back and help fix the totally broken and crime infested places from which they came. Then come back and show us how it is done. These places need your help badly, you can’t leave fast enough.”

Of the four lawmakers, Omar is the only one who was born outside of the United States. All four lawmakers have slammed the president for his attacks on them.

The lawmakers have also had plenty of negative things to say about the president and the United States in the past.

Omar recently seemed to refer to all of American society as racist and even suggested that dogs are treated better than detained migrants.

“We live in a society and govern in a body that might value the life of a dog more than they value the life of a child who might not look like theirs,” she said.

Tlaib called Trump a motherf—er during her first week in office.

Ocasio-Cortez has suggested Trump is a criminal and a racist on multiple occasions.

Trump’s statements may be harsh, but don’t forget that they are a reaction to a constant barrage of attacks against both him and this country on a frequent basis from these lawmakers.
