Democrat Congresswoman Maxine Waters bullied and harangued Treasury Secretary Steve Mnuchin during his testimony before the House Financial Services Committee.
Mnuchin’s Congressional hearing was related to the Democrats’ rabid witch hunt for President Trump’s tax returns — which many Americans could not care less about.
Waters Named One of the Most Corrupt Members of Congress
Amazingly, Waters is the chairwoman of the House Financial Services Committee despite being repeatedly named one of the most corrupt members of Congress by the George Soros-funded liberal watchdog CREW (Citizens for Responsibility and Ethics in Washington).
In contrast, Mnuchin is a self-made businessman whose net worth topped $300 million before he started working for the Trump administration.
He reportedly forgoes his $205,000 annual salary as Treasury Secretary. Similarly, President Trump, Ivanka, and Jared Kushner all forgo their six-figure annual salaries.

Maxine Waters Refused to Let Steve Mnuchin Leave
Here’s what happened yesterday: Mnuchin asked Waters if he can finally leave the hearing after testifying before the committee all day.
Why? Because Mnuchin actually has work to do: He had a pre-scheduled meeting with a senior official from Bahrain waiting for him at the White House. The two were to discuss national security issues and sanctions.
“I’ve just been advised that I’m under no obligation to stay. I’m here voluntarily. I will leave at 5:30, which is going to make me already 20 minutes late. So I’m happy to listen for another 10 minutes and then I will be leaving.”
“If you wish to keep me here so that I don’t have my important meeting and continue to grill me, then I will cancel my meeting and I will not be back here. I will be very clear if that’s the way you’d like to have this relationship.”
Mad Maxine: Don’t Tell Me What to Do!
An enraged Waters fired back, saying: “No other Secretary has ever told us the day before that they were going to limit their time in the way that you’re doing.”
Mnuchin said it’s wrong for Waters to order him to stay, when he was there voluntarily. He then asked Maxine Waters to dismiss everyone, so it doesn’t appear like he was leaving without permission.
“Please dismiss everybody. I believe you’re supposed to take the gavel and bang it. That’s the appropriate way,” Mnuchin remarked.
A furious Waters snarked back: “Please don’t instruct me on how I’m supposed to conduct this committee!”
Maxine Waters’ Shady History of Self-Dealing
It’s scandalous that Maxine Waters is allowed to chair the House Financial Services Committee given her shocking history of crooked financial dealings.
In 2008, Waters was charged with three counts of ethical violations after allegedly helping OneUnited bank secure $12 million in federal bailout funds while hiding the fact that her husband owned stock in the bank.
In 2017, FEC filings showed that Maxine paid her daughter Karen Waters $750,000 for running her mom’s gravy-train slate mailer campaign.
Congresswoman Waters has hypocritically trashed President Trump for being “corrupt” while she has apparently used her 28-year political career to pocket hundreds of thousands of dollars over the years.

Maxine’s Own Constituents Are Turning On Her
As BizPac Review reported, even her own constituents are fed-up with Waters’ corrupt self-dealing.
A black female Trump supporter eviscerated the California Democrat, saying her pro-illegal immigration policies have destroyed the black community.

Despite 15 terms in Congress, Waters only recently gained a national profile — after vowing to obstruct Trump and promising to impeach him.
Meanwhile, Waters’ pal Nancy Pelosi admits that the president has committed no impeachable offenses.
