Al Sharpton to be given honorary doctorate by Crown Heights college 28 years after igniting race war

Al Sharpton — a race-baiting Democratic flame-thrower and MSNBC host — is being honored at the June 2019 commencement of the Medgar Evers College in Crown Heights, Brooklyn.

Laughably, Sharpton got an honorary doctorate from the taxpayer-funded, predominantly black college in recognition of his “unwavering commitment to racial, educational and socioeconomic equity.”

The award comes 28 years after Sharpton fomented the 1991 Crown Heights riots — which resulted in four days of looting, vandalism, and violent assaults in Crown Heights, Brooklyn.

During the Crown Heights riots, hundreds of police officers and civilians were injured, dozens of businesses were vandalized, and countless police cars were set on fire.

Here’s what happened: In August 1991, a 7-year-old black boy named Gavin Cato was accidentally struck and killed by a 29-year-old Hasidic scholar named Yankel Rosenbaum.

Hours later, an angry mob of black Brooklyn residents hunted Rosenbaum down and stabbed him to death while shouting, “Kill the Jew!”

The day after Cato’s death, Sharpton organized a protest, where 400 angry demonstrators stomped through the streets of Brooklyn screaming: “No justice, no peace!”

At Cato’s funeral, Sharpton incited more racial and anti-Semitic animus by denouncing Jews as “diamond merchants” who hate black people. He has since made other anti-Semitic comments.

Yankel Rosenbaum’s brother — Norman Rosenbaum — says Sharpton may have cleaned up his image a bit since he incited the Crown Heights riots, but he’s still the same hateful race-baiter.

Accordingly, Rosenbaum says Medgar Evers College should not give Sharpton an honorary doctorate because he’s a con artist and a bigot.

“This is not a person you honor,” Rosenbaum told the New York Post. “He hasn’t changed. The same character is there.”

“He’s a fraud and a charlatan whose actions over the years speak for themselves. And they’re not good actions. He’s a man who does not promote peace. He has not told the truth.”

As BizPac Review reported, Al Sharpton is a self-dealing tax evader who recently sold the rights to his life story — to his own taxpayer-funded charity.

Sharpton’s latest race hustle is getting Democratic presidential candidates to promise that they’ll give black Americans “Slavery Reparation” if elected.

However, black activists warn black voters to not fall for the “Blame Whitey” con because no one is getting slavery reparations. It’s merely a shameless scam to fool blacks into voting for Democrats.

“It’s more of that Blame Whitey movement mania. That’s what you get at the Al Sharpton so-called ‘House of Justice.’ You have buffoonery.

“I can’t understand how serious presidential contenders can give legitimacy to a racial blowhard.”
