Radically far-left students at one of the most radically far-left colleges in America are mad that their school isn’t radically far-left enough and have therefore demanded that the school’s already radically far-left administrators promptly implement their radically far-left demands.
Just how far-left are the demands of these radically far-left students at New York’s already radically far-left Sarah Lawrence College? So far-left that your head may hurt from all the facepalms.
“Students of color should not be forced to resort to racist white professors in order to have access to their own history,” reads one radically far-left and glaringly racist demand.
“It is crucial that the College offer courses taught about people of color by people of color so that students may engage in and produce meaningful work that represents them authentically.”

So in other words, the college’s white professors need to be replaced by black professors because, one, all white professors are racist, and two, Sarah Lawrence College’s radically far-left students deserve to be taught by “people of color,” i.e. people not plagued by pesky whiteness.
Why all the clear-cut hate and racism for white professors? Because one of the school’s white professors, Samuel Abrams, published an op-ed in The New York Times last year in defense of diversity of thought on college campuses, which evidence shows lean heavily to the left.
According to contemporary “progressivism,” things such as diversity of thought, color blindness, respectability, good manners, politeness and proper English are all racist.

It’s also apparently racist to not treat young adult students like little children:
“All campus laundry rooms are to supply laundry detergent and softener on a consistent basis for all students, faculty and staff,” the list of demands continues.
“The College must commit to devising a food plan where every student has access to, at minimum, two meals a day , including weekends, school breaks, and days when the college is closed due to weather.”
“When dining options are closed on campus, the College must provide free meals for students staying on campus, including vegetarian, gluten-free, vegan, halal, and kosher options.”

It’s unclear why the list doesn’t also include a demand that school administrators be forced to change their students’ diapers and wipes their tender booties.
Besides publishing an absolutely absurd list of demand, Sarah Lawrence College’s radically far-left and severely immature students have also been holding silly protests.

All they were missing were so-called “pussy” hats.
Dovetailing back to the students’ list, it also appears to include a demand for segregated housing.
“The College will designate housing with a minimum capacity for thirty students of color
that is not contingent on the students expending any work or labor for the college. This housing option will be permanent and increase in space and size based on interest,” the demand reads.
While it’s unclear whether this housing will be for just “students of color,” it wouldn’t be the first time that far-left students have called for segregated housing, which by the way would be illegal. Though just to be clear, this isn’t the only illegal demand included in the list:

Regarding Abrams, who’s faced harassment and vandalism because of his op-ed, the far-left students want him to undergo a “tenure review” led by a panel featuring them, of course, and “at least three faculty members of color.”
“In addition, the College must issue a statement condemning the harm that Abrams has caused to the college community, specifically queer, Black, and female students, whilst apologizing for its refusal to protect marginalized students wounded by his op-ed and the ignorant dialogue that followed,” the demand reads. “Abrams must issue a public apology to the broader SLC community and cease to target Black people, queer people, and women.”
Sadly, Sarah Lawrence President Cristle Collins Judd has reportedly buckled to some of their demands:

But not all. She did at least have the courage to stand up for Abrams, writing in a statement Tuesday that she doesn’t appreciate “the inappropriateness of demands related to the work and tenure of one of our faculty members, for which my statement to the campus on November 6 stands as my response.”
Following the publication of Abrams’s op-ed last year, Judd said that “academic freedom is a fundamental principle at Sarah Lawrence College” and that “Professor Abrams has every right, and the full support of the College, to pursue and publish this work.”
Congratulations on displaying that you have a backbone, albeit a very tiny one …
