Ocasio-Cortez’s latest gift to the GOP will keep giving all the way up until 2020

Liberals have made it a habit of late to point out how the conservative media is quick to draw attention to Rep. Alexandra Ocasio-Cortez, D-N.Y.

What they don’t seem to grasp is that this alleged “obsession” is because the proud, self-assured democratic socialist is the gift that keeps on giving.

Almost daily. In fact, with Ocasio-Cortez basking in the media adulation, the bounty is so plentiful it’s hard to keep up.

The latest gem from the Bronx dimwit that is almost certain to serve as campaign gold for Republicans occurred over the weekend as the newly-elected 29-year-old lawmaker was speaking at an inaugural ceremony.

Speaking about the New Green Deal that she rolled out to hysterical reviews last week, Ocaso-Cortez did the GOP a solid in noting that “every presidential candidate” in her party endorsed the radical left-wing plan.

“The Green New Deal that we introduced two weeks ago, which was an amazing step forward, when we first were engineering it, before it was introduced, they were saying, ‘She’s divisive. She’s too confrontational. No one will sign on to a single piece of legislation that she introduced,” she said, touting her efforts.

(Never mind that her assessment of the disastrous rollout flipped reality on its head.)

“And then the first day we were able to introduce a resolution in both chambers, co-sponsored by every presidential candidate — every Democratic presidential candidate and 65 House members,” Ocasio-Cortez said, before noting the total is now up to 84 co-sponsors.

President Trump certainly encouraged Democrats to embrace the deal.

But before this nugget could even be processed, Ocasio-Cortez was on social media comparing a wall along the southern border to the Berlin Wall — which was put up by socialists.

The Daily Wire’s Ryan Saavedra informed the nitwit that the border wall is to stop a flow of drugs, illegal immigration and human trafficking, and the Berlin Wall was intended to stop people from escaping the communist hellhole of East Germany.

These latest controversies from a woman who is clearly in over her head comes while the economic illiteracy she displayed last week over tax breaks to Amazon still resonates.

New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio, a fellow progressive traveler, went on NBC’s “Meet the Press” on Sunday to say Ocasio-Cortez does not have a grasp on the facts.

On Friday, the former bartender was busy dismissing questions of ethics violations after it was revealed she had given her boyfriend a congressional email account — an apparent violation of House rules.

And if all of the above isn’t enough campaign fodder to the GOP, don’t forget the time in 2018 when she showed off a Boston College education, with a minor in economics, by saying that “unemployment is low because everyone has two jobs.”

Or the time she threatened President Trump’s eldest son, Donald Trump Jr., with a subpoena for trolling her on Twitter — the spectacle coming less than a month after she has been elected.

How about when Ocasio-Cortez tweeted about “all three chambers of government: the presidency, the Senate, and the House.”

The list goes on and on, meaning the only way Republicans can run out of material to sway voters next November is if they stop trying.
