President Donald Trump’s son Donald Trump Jr. briefly beefed with CNN on Saturday over the network’s decision to not run one of his father’s recent campaign ads about illegal immigration.
Seen below, the ad depicted convicted cop killer Luis Bracamontes, an illegal immigrant who smirked in court after being sentenced to death earlier this year for the 2014 murders of two Sacramento cops.
Featured alongside Bracamontes were snapshots and video footage of the incoming caravan of migrants, illegal immigrants, gang members and criminals headed to the U.S. southern border.
“CNN refused to run this ad… I guess they only run fake news and won’t talk about real threats that don’t suit their agenda. Enjoy,” Trump Jr. tweeted Saturday morning around 7:41 am.
“Remember this on Tuesday,” he added, alluding to the generally accepted belief that CNN is an arm of the Democrat Party, meaning voting against Democrats is equivalent to voting against CNN.

CNN responded three hours later by accusing the ad of being racist.
Look:
CNN has made it abundantly clear in its editorial coverage that this ad is racist. When presented with an opportunity to be paid to take a version of this ad, we declined. Those are the facts. ?

A number of Twitter users responded to the network’s tweet by arguing that outlining the risks inherent in allowing an unscreened mob of foreigners to simply waltz across the border is not racist:
The ad is not racist. It is facts. @cnn is a biased joke of fake news. https://t.co/LrF4n6kIJU

The ad is NOT “racist”. The ad Accurately depicts Current Events of a specific Issue.
TRUTH does not Favor the Democrat / @CNN agenda.

@CNN is being sued for being racist to employees and they allowed @donlemon to keep his job after spewing racists remarks.
This is just more #FakeNews being pushed by CNN to make it seem like they had reason not to run the ad. They really just don’t want the truth getting out.

The ad is not racist. You conveniently leave out the fact that he also shot a black man in the face and one of the officers wifes is black. You’re race baiting as usual. #votered

The ad is NOT racist ! “Media” companies are NOT the arbiters of POLITICAL SPEECH in this republic !
The @FEC should fine @CNN , and it’s parent @ATT into oblivion over this campaign interference !— Mark S Whelchel (@FelixMarkW) November 3, 2018
Not a racist ad at all! This is because you don’t agree with it’s message. That is a fact!?
Your employee @donlemon say very racist statements, doubles down on them and you do nothing. That is a fact!?@cnn as a legitimate news source? That is a JOKE! There is your ?— TheBunnyGuy ❤️?❤️ (@mdst88) November 3, 2018
@cnn rules sure do change on what they see as racist and what Americans see as racist. This ad is factual, unlike your hosts who give racist opinions and not factual news. Wake up before Mr. Rogers reruns beat you with viewers.

Fact #1 – this ad is not racist.
Fact #2 – @CNN doesn’t know what facts are.— John (@jh7468) November 3, 2018
Several also highlighted the racist rhetoric of the network’s own left-wing commentators, including far-leftist Don Lemon. Earlier in the week Lemon had smeared all “white men,” telling his audience that they pose the “biggest terror threat” in America.
Listen:
But there’s a catch: It turns out CNN’s been airing the president’s ad the whole time.
“In the two days since the president posted the ad, CNN aired the clip with its audio at least 19 different times, totaling more than seven minutes of free airtime for the video between the network’s normal programming and reruns,” The Daily Beast reported.
Instead of airing the clips during commercial breaks, the network wound up airing them during segments about the president’s alleged “racism.”
Look at the response below:
Why pay for what they’re getting door free anyway:

It seems like the president and his son will get to have the last laugh.
