Schiff vows to bring Congress to a halt, dedicate more resources into probing Trump if Dems win

Professional Democrat obstructionist Rep. Adam Schiff admitted in an interview Wednesday that if Democrats retake Congress in November, they intend to funnel resources away from the legislative body’s true purpose, which is to enact meaningful legislation, and toward far less pertinent tasks.

“There was one issue we were not allowed to look at and the Senate hasn’t been either that concerns me a great deal and that is the issue of whether Russians were laundering money through the Trump Organization and [if] that is the leverage they have over the president,” Schiff told The Hill.

“Someone needs to determine whether those allegations are true or they are not. That certainly would be a priority for me,” he added, ignoring the fact that the allegations have already been debunked.

Schiff says that he wants to investigate Trump for alleged money laundering despite knowing that a report released by Republicans on the House Intelligence Committee in April made it clear that there was  no “collusion, coordination, or conspiracy between the Trump campaign and the Russian government,” according to the Washington Examiner.

Even to this day, no evidence has surfaced to suggest President Donald Trump colluded with Russians to affect the outcome of the presidential election, let alone laundered any money for them.

Evidence has been obtained and subsequently used to convict the president’s former campaign manager Paul Manafort of tax evasion, bank fraud and money laundering. But those charges stem from actions Manafort took long before he became a part of the president’s campaign team in 2016.

Despite any evidence of money laundering by Trump, both Democrats and their media allies remain convinced of the president’s guilt. In fact, Schiff has been touting this claim for months now.

“We were not permitted to look into one of the allegations that was most serious to me,
and that is were the Russians laundering money through the Trump Organization,” he whined to ABC News host George Stephanopoulos back in June.

“The Republicans wouldn’t allow us to go near that. I hope that Bob Muller’s investigating it, because again, if that’s the leverage the Russians are using, it would not only explain the president’s behavior, but it would help protect the country by knowing that in fact our president was compromised.”

While it remains unclear why exactly Schiff remains hellbent on pursuing this dead end allegation — though some suspect it may be an attempt to distract from the fact that Democrats have nothing to run on — what’s for certain is that this isn’t the only conspiracy he’s promoted.

Earlier this year he suggested that Russians used bots to promote the Second Amendment on social media so that Americans would kill each other. Schiff also falsely accused the Russians of being behind the #ReleaseTheMemo hashtag that appeared on Twitter in January.

It’s unclear if he’s just clinically insane — many Democrats admittedly are — or if all this conspiratorial nonsense is just for show. Rest assured though that no matter what, if the Democrats regain the House and Senate in November, there will be no more tax cuts or reductions in regulations. There will only be endless Trump Derangement.
