Ocasio-Cortez’s lipstick shade sells out: How Dems’ new charismatic little socialist could be Obama 2.0

Roughly 10 years ago a barely known left-wing radical suddenly hopped into the spotlight and quickly rose to power, transforming almost overnight from an obscure senator into the president of the United States.

Over the course of the next eight years, that radical, a man now known as former President Barack Hussein Obama, “fundamentally transformed” America in ways so detrimental that it may take current President Donald Trump another eight years just to reverse the damage.

Now fast forward to June 26, 2018, when yet another left-wing radical — this one a woman from New York — shocked the nation by defeating 19-year congressional veteran Rep. Joseph Crowley in the Democrat primary for New York’s 14th congressional district.

Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez is her name, and though she may be one of the most inexperienced congressional nominees in American history, this proud socialist and radical is on the path to become the voice of the Democrat party.

Miss Ocasio-Cortez is likewise following Obama’s footsteps to a T, as evidenced by her rising popularity among left-wing celebrities like late show host Stephen Colbert, who enthusiastically hosted her on his CBS Show earlier this week.

Here’s a snippet from that interview:

“Well you know, the president is from Queens, and with all due respect — half of my district is from Queens — I don’t think he knows how to deal with a girl from the Bronx,” she replied when asked by Colbert about how she intends to handle the president.

It appears she also takes after Obama in lying, since the evidence disproves the narrative that she’s just a simple working class girl from the Bronx.

In a profile of her published last week, The New York Times acknowledged that though Ocasio-Cortez was born in the Bronx, when she was five her father relocated their family to a home in Yorktown Heights, an upscale suburb in Westchester County with a median income of $95,523. That makes her an upper middle class girl. Nice try, though.

Now remember how Democrats incessantly praised Obama and aspired to be just like him? In fact, Democrats still do that! And wouldn’t you know it, they’ve begun doing it to Ocasio-Cortez as well.

Case in point: After a recent debate with Crowley during which she wore bright red lipstick, the aspiring House representative was inundated with requests from veritable groupies wanting to know where they could buy the lipstick for themselves:

Two days after she defeated Crowley in the Democrat primary, word broke that the lipstick had completely sold out at Stila and Sephora, two popular cosmetics retailers.

All this matters because this woman has the potential and charisma to be an Obama 2.0, a fact that should frighten every conservative who cares about America’s future.

You think Obama was bad? This woman not only believes the government should dole out free healthcare, but she also believes it should offer free day care, free college education, free everything!

She’s Obama on socialist steroids, and unless conservatives remain stalwart in their efforts to keep steering America back in the right direction — one where personal responsibility and the rule of law mean something — this woman could one day be president.
