The New York Times was forced to walk back yet another anti-Trump fake news story after being caught pushing a lie and realizing it had accidentally attacked its hero, Barack Obama.
Liberal ProPublica reporter Hannah Dreier tweeted: “Good corrective to social media hysteria over the weekend about 1,500 missing immigrant kids. There are 1,475 minors whose caregivers didn’t respond to a government survey. They’re not lost. And they weren’t ripped from their parents at the border.”
Dreier linked to a New York Times story entitled: “Did the Trump Administration Separate Immigrant Children From Parents and Lose Them?” The answer is a NO, but of course, the NYT promoted its clickbait headline to woo liberal readers who hoped the headline was true.
The New York Times was forced to issue the clarification amid widespread outrage it helped spread over false accusations that the Trump administration had “lost track of 1,500 [illegal] immigrant children.”
CNN’s resident Trump-hating “Republican” Ana Navarro and other liberals pushed the fake news story.
Kindly, do not lecture me about being all about family values and family unity, if you are ok with families being torn apart and not outraged 1,500 immigrant children have somehow been lost track of. https://t.co/b5Z0hzftNz

Meanwhile, here’s a photo of Ana with her hero, accused rapist Bill Clinton (more on him below).
MSNBC’s homophobic pundit Joy Reid also spread the fake-news story about the “1,500 missing children.”
You’d almost never know her father’s administration, to which she is an adviser, was brutally separating migrant children from their asylum-seeking parents and lost track of 1,500 of them… https://t.co/sMQ2GWA2zY

The mainstream media continued to fan the flames on this debunked story even after the Department of Health and Human Services issued a statement condemning the lie.

Over the weekend, CNN, New York Times, MSNBC and other outlets stepped on a rake by trashing President Trump for housing illegal-immigrant children in kennels like dogs….only to find out that the incident occurred during the Obama administration.
Fortunately for the American public, social media was there to debunk the lies of the anti-Trump media, which will push any narrative they think will hurt him, even if it’s false.
Trump campaign senior adviser Katrina Pierson tweeted: “Your guy created the unaccompanied minor crisis via DACA (2012) and DAPA (2014) then put them in the cages that you tweeted then deleted after trying to blame Donald Trump. Another Obama mess he’s trying to clean up.”
Um, still wrong.
Your guy created the unaccompanied minor crisis via DACA (2012) & DAPA (2014) then put them in the cages that you tweeted then deleted after trying to blame @realDonaldTrump 🙄 Another Obama mess he’s trying to clean up. #MAGA 🇺🇸 https://t.co/PrJ5llWI4I

Breitbart’s Brandon Darby pointed out another inconvenient fact:
- Many journos finally brought up sexual assaults against migrants at border—when they thought Trump was wrong. He was right so they dropped the issue.
- Many finally tweeted horrific photo of minors on border—when they thought Trump did it. He didn’t so they deleted it.”
Daily Wire reporter Ryan Saavedra tweeted: “CNN chief propagandist Brian Stelter, who is supposed to report on the media, left these two major lies spread by leftists over the last couple of days out of his newsletter:
- 2014 article showing kids in ICE center
- 2016 photo of the ICE bus for kids.”
CNN chief propagandist @BrianStelter, who is supposed to report on the media, left these two major lies spread by leftists over the last couple of days out of his newsletter:

For the record, Saavedra is Hispanic and opposes illegal immigration, for those who want to attack him as a “white supremacist.”
I'm a Hispanic-American and I do NOT want illegal aliens in our country bringing their drugs & crime.
Kate Steinle died in her dad’s arms after being shot to death by a 5-time-deported illegal alien in a sanctuary city.
Obama's failure to protect our borders is what killed Kate

Where was the liberal media outrage?
liberals were silent as deportations skyrocketed under Obama, hypocrites! pic.twitter.com/pnKIBPkt6R

Then, there’s this walk down memory lane from the good ole days of former president Bill Clinton. Here’s how the liberal Democrat treated children like 6-year-old Elian Gonzalez, who was in the United States illegally.
Actually the Democrats under bill Clinton at gun point ripped Elian Gonzalez from his families arms and deported him back to an opressive Cuba . Obama started this mess at the border I don’t know why people are blaming Trump pic.twitter.com/CJu2vK9plP
