Michael Avenatti’s celebration photo at an event for his client, Stormy Daniels, got plenty of attention for all the wrong reasons.
Avenatti posed in a photo with a West Hollywood City Council member inside an adult toy and porn store on Wednesday while celebrating “Stormy Daniels Day,” a day apparently set aside to honor the adult film actress whose real name is Stephanie Clifford.

But a certain sex toy in the background of the photo seemed to overshadow Stormy’s moment and captured attention on social media, which Avenatti appeared to dismiss.

The city of West Hollywood paid tribute in its Stormy Daniels Day to the porn star who “has proven herself to be a profile in courage.” For her part in the “#RESIST movement,” she was awarded a key to the city and a public proclamation on Wednesday.
