Once again, President Trump is showing why he won.
The president’s online campaign store now offers shoppers a cap with bold writing that reads “American Dreamer,” a reference to his State of the Union declaration that “Americans are Dreamers, too.”
Illegal aliens shielded from deportation by Barack Obama’s Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) program because they were brought into the country as minors are often referred to as “Dreamers” due to the DREAM Act, an Obama-supported amnesty bill that Congress never passed.
In his State of the Union speech last month, President Trump said that American citizens are also “Dreamers.”
“I am extending an open hand to work with members of both parties — Democrats and Republicans — to protect our citizens of every background, color, religion, and creed.
“My duty, and the sacred duty of every elected official in this chamber, is to defend Americans — to protect their safety, their families, their communities, and their right to the American Dream.
“Because Americans are dreamers too.”

The product description for the $50 “American Dreamer” hat reads:
“We all want to live the American dream and our 45th President is helping to make that dream a reality for each and every American. With our American Dreamer Hat you can show that you believe we can Make America Great Again.”
The cap, like the other products on the Trump web store, is “Made in USA.”
News of the headwear provoked heated backlash from the president’s detractors.
