If you’ve forgotten “piegate” — the infamous controversy over whether or not a Sarah Sanders-baked pie was authentic — one might be forgiven. It turns out, however, that it was still a hot topic on one reporter’s mind on Tuesday.
The Democrats releasing their FISA memo response? Nope. Sid Blumenthal’s role in the Steele dossier? Nah. Hillary Clinton potentially ‘paying’ for the surveillance warrant on Carter Page? Forget it. This reporter has bigger fish to fry. (Or pies to bake, as the case may be.)

“I don’t have any personnel announcements on that front but you definitely win the award for biggest and best word used,” Sanders said.
Sanders then left the room, but one reporter wanted his last gasp shot to get a question in.
“Can you say categorically that the cooking pictures… were certified as genuine by April Ryan?” the reporter yelled.
“I didn’t say anything about that,” Ryan piped up.
“Don’t do that. Don’t do that,” she scolded.
It looks like the legend of piegate continues.
