Breaking: Tragic shooting at Kentucky high school leaves at least one dead, multiple injured

A shooting at a Kentucky high school has injured at least five people and left at least one dead, according to multiple breaking news reports.

The shooting took place at Marshall County High School in Benton, KY on Tuesday morning.

Kentucky governor Matt Bevin implored news agencies not to speculate on the developing story.

According to Governor Bevin, the shooter is in custody. Thoughts and prayers have gone out to those affected.


At least five of the people shot at the high school were students, according to authorities.
