According to the spokesperson, the 63-year-old Obama appointee was fine after receiving treatment and soon returned to work.

This morning, Sotomayor was present at the high court’s weekly closed-door conference, where she joined the other justices in discussing whether to take up the latest version of President Trump’s travel ban. Ultimately, they announced that they would hear the case.

Sotomayor has struggled with type 1 diabetes since being diagnosed with the disease at age eight.
