MSNBC in disbelief: Nancy Pelosi hits Democrats at tax bill protest with the ultimate insult

Is the “resistance” losing steam, already? If the sad showing for a protest against a looming Republican tax cut bill is any indication… yes, it is.

“This particular protest was supposed to start at 3:00,” MSNBC’s Garret Haake said while reporting from Capitol Hill on Monday.

California Democrat Nancy Pelosi was supposed to be the event’s special guest, but she was nowhere to be found.

“…Supposed to feature Nancy Pelosi and supposed to have hundreds of people, and none of those things are going to end up being true.”

Haake predicted it could be a precursor of what’s to come.

“But it is increasingly likely that the passage of this tax bill is more or less a foregone conclusion at this point,” he said.

Multimillionaire and career politician Pelosi has often used apocalyptic terms to criticize the Republican tax cut bill, and has received considerable pushback.

Hillary belts out her part in ‘Song for Women’ video and it sounds every bit as cringeworthy as it looks

Pelosi’s constant criticism and hyperbole looks like it may be falling on deaf ears.  She recently stepped in it, by gushing over fellow Democrat John Conyers, only to have to walk back her shallow accolades 24 hours later in favor of the women who accused her colleague of serial sexual harassment.
