Eminem says he wants America to be ‘great too,’ calls for Trump impeachment

Eminem is still ticked the president hasn’t responded to him.

The rapper wished for President Trump’s impeachment and accused him of having the American people “brainwashed” during an interview with New York Magazine.

The interview focused on Eminem’s upcoming album, “Revival.” But it didn’t take long for the conversation to become political.

“He makes my blood boil,” the artist said of the president. “I can’t even watch the news anymore because it makes me too stressed out.”

Eminem suggested the country will only be “great” without President Trump in the Oval Office.

“All jokes aside, all punch lines aside, I’m trying to get a message out there about him. I want our country to be great too, I want it to be the best it can be, but it’s not going to be that with him in charge.”

He also accused the President of “putting people against each other.”

“I remember when he was first sniffing around politics, I thought, ‘We’ve tried everything else, why not him?’ Then — and I was watching it live — he had that speech where he said Mexico is sending us rapists and criminals. I got this feeling of what the f***?

“From that point on, I knew it was going to be bad with him. What he’s doing putting people against each other is scary f*****g s**t. His election was such a disappointment to me about the state of the country.”

Eminem launched a profanity-filled attack on Trump during a freestyle performance at this year’s BET Hip Hop Awards.

Last month, the rapper said he was “angry” the President hasn’t responded to him. “I can’t stand that motherf**ker. I feel like he’s not paying attention to me. I was kind of waiting for him to say something and for some reason, he didn’t say anything.”

The anti-Trump celebrity told New York Magazine he still holds out hope the president will reply.

“It’s not so much about him hearing something I have to say, because there’s nothing I’m saying about him on ‘Revival’ that he doesn’t already know about himself. It’s more that I want him to answer me because I got ideas for all kinds of s*** to say back to him if he does. …

“I’m not going to give any away now, but I’ve got lines ready if he says something about me. I get almost flustered thinking about him — that’s how angry he makes me. … He’s got people brainwashed.”

He also made clear he would like President Trump’s term in office to end prematurely. “I hope he gets impeached,” he said. “I’d be there for that.”

During his controversial BET Awards performance, Eminem criticized his fans who voted for the Republican President, rapping:

“And if you can’t decide who you like more in your split. On who you should stand beside. I’ll do it for you with this: F**k you.”

But in his New York Magazine interview, Eminem walked back on his confrontational language.

“Yeah, Trump had me so mad with all his bulls*** that I was thinking, ‘I hope everybody who voted for him gets f****d and learns a lesson.’ But that was wrong. I don’t want any voters to get f****d; everyone’s trying to improve their lives. I just feel mad that Trump’s sold people a dream that’s never coming true. I want the division in this country to stop.”

Eminem’s lyrics are a sharp contrast to the President Trump’s rhetoric. In the song “Untouchable,” featured on his latest album, Eminem bemoaned that “there have been times where it’s been embarrassing to be a white boy.”

He went on to say that being white has made him want to die. “I feel like checking out on life, can’t escape this circumstance.”
