A skydiver dressed as Santa Claus, with an ‘elf on a shelf’ with him on a jump, crashed into a tree on Saturday and broke his leg.
George Krokus, or “Santa” and Kristoff — the elf on the dive — are recovering in a Tampa Bay-area hospital room and are reported to be in good spirits.
The crash landing took place at the Tampa Bay Beach Bums Operation Santa Charity Volleyball Tournament on Gulfport Beach.
