The AWESOME moment a deployed Army sergeant surprises his dancer girlfriend at @Sixers game

Home sweet home…

After just finishing an 11-month tour of duty in Kuwait, Army Sergeant Elliot Burgos of the 978th CSC, aided by the Philadelphia 76ers, managed to pull off the surprise of a lifetime for his girlfriend Angela, a rookie dancer for the 76ers.

The 29-year-old returned home to New Jersey last week but didn’t let his girlfriend know. The two just celebrated their three-year anniversary in September.

A video of troops sending messages to friends and family played on the screens in the Wells Fargo Center during the first quarter break at Saturday night’s game. Angela and the 76ers dancers were watching before taking the court when Burgos appeared on the screen, surprising his 23-year-old girlfriend.

Moments later, she was even more surprised when, after putting on a 76ers cap and getting flowers from the team’s mascot Franklin, Burgos appeared live at the game.
