‘Worst call in history’ favors New England Patriots, and it’s all somehow President Trump’s fault

So, this happened during Sunday’s game between the New York Jets and New England Patriots:

After trailing early, the Patriots managed to claw their way to a 24-17 victory over their divisional rival, aided in large part by the above controversial 4th quarter call, which negated what looked to many to be a clear Jets touchdown.

Obviously, it’s President Trump’s fault.

Nope, this parody account gets it wrong. Trump LIKES the Patriots, unless any are taking a knee, of course. If you’re really woke, you’ll know that the Patriots’ Evil Empire is fueled in large part by President Trump’s friendship with Robert Kraft and Tom Brady. It’s why they won the Super Bowl, and somehow, some way, it’s how they continually manage to snatch victory from the jaws of defeat, just like Trump somehow stole the election from Hillary Clinton even though way more dead people and illegal immigrants voted for her.

Weinstein buddy Robert De Niro throws F-bomb tantrum, bans Trump from his bench

Now? They’ve run the league for years!

Trump just happened, that’s what!!

Surely some of these are in jest. We can hope so anyway. But it’s still amazing how many Twitterers were drunk enough to actually link the Pats’ win to President Trump. Let’s not forget that Jets owner Woody Johnson is only ambassador to the U.K. for the Trump administration. So, there’s that.

Or, it could be that the Patriots work hard and are actually good at what they do, and Tom Brady is the best quarterback to ever play the game. As for the favoritism part:

Sure, it was a bad call. But it had nothing to do with Trump.
