As Italy reels from Islamic terrorism and the continual stream of Middle Eastern migrants pouring into her borders, at least one mayor is determined to protect his city.
Instead of risking a terrorist attack, Venice Mayor Luigi Brugnaro has issued an order to police to shoot anyone who shouts ‘Allahu Akbar.’

While the phrase does mean ‘God is greatest’ in Arabic, it’s also a phrase that’s been shouted by virtually every Middle Eastern terrorist right before committing their particular act of jihad.
So instead of risking a terrorist attack in the middle of Venice’s St Marks Square, Brugnaro has chosen to give his police the tools to fight terrorism before it happens.
Mayor Brugnaro revealed his order while speaking at a conference in the northeastern city of Rimini, and he was reportedly applauded by delegates.
“In contrast with Barcelona, where they had not set up protection, we keep our guard up,” Brugnaro said to applause. “If anyone runs into St Mark’s Square shouting ‘Allahu Akhbar’, we will take him down. A year ago I said within four paces, now within three. I will say it in Venetian: ‘Ghe Sparemo’ (We will shoot him).”
Remembering a March arrest of four suspected jihadists accused of planning to blow up the Rialto bridge, the Venetian mayor said, “They wanted to go to Allah. But we’ll send them straight to Allah before they can do any damage.”
Speaking on the issue Wednesday night, Brugnaro added: “I have never been politically correct, in fact I am politically correct and that’s why we also need a naval blockade against people coming into Italy from north Africa.”
Sadly, things have gotten so far that such ‘extreme’ measures will likely be the only way to save Europe from complete destruction.
