Teen jumps from moving car to escape horrifying ‘race-based’ attempted rape by 3 males at gunpoint

Three South Carolina black teenagers who went on a July crime spree that included armed robberies, kidnapping, and a near sexual assault that was foiled by one victim’s stunning escape, reportedly targeted their victims because of their race.

And no, you won’t be hearing about this on the mainstream news.

“This was a crime spree. They would not have stopped,” said Richland County Sheriff Leon Lott. “They made a statement that they did not like white people and they were only going to rob white people.”

17-year-old Raquan Green and two unnamed 15-year-olds were reportedly captured last week. One of the 15-year-olds injured an officer while resisting arrest.

“Between July 3 and July 26 there have been seven separate incidents of armed robberies, some to include carjacking and kidnapping along the Bluff /Shop Road Corridor,” Lott told WISTV. “Investigators discovered that the suspects began targeting delivery drivers by committing armed robberies. The crimes then escalated to carjacking and kidnapping victims.”

The late-night robberies included four food delivery drivers, one of whom was forced to withdraw money from an ATM to give to the perpetrators. Items stolen included cell phones, cash, and electronics.

Jordan Dinsmore was the only victim to tell her story to press on Thursday:

Her mother also interviewed with News2:

According to Dinsmore, the group of three black males approached her as she was returning home from work on July 26. They pushed her to the ground, put a gun to her head, and threatened to kill her unless she drove them to an ATM and withdrew money to give to them. After she complied, one of the perpetrators told her she was going to his “auntie’s house” to be used for sex.

Fortunately, in a stunning piece of bravery brought on by the will to survive, Jordan was able to escape by jumping out of her moving car. She then ran to the interstate and flagged down help.
