Twitter hilarity follows Maxine Waters’ attempted ‘funny’ on the whereabouts of Sean Spicer

He hasn’t really gone missing, has he?

Friday found White House Press Secretary Sean Spicer in Paris, France with President Trump, Kellyanne Conway and others celebrating Bastille Day with French President Emmanuel Macron. When it comes to the everyday matters of dealing with the press, it’s Deputy Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders who’s been doing all the heavy lifting of late.

Which has led to several tongue-in-cheek inquiries about Spicer’s whereabouts, including Twitter’s newest near-octogenarian warrior, Rep. Maxine Waters, who tweeted, “Has anyone checked on Sean Spicer?”

Which drew quite a few funny responses:

But it was Spicer’s parody account, Sean Spicier, that had the best jab of the day…

And things really got rolling from there…
