Sanctuary cities claim victims every day.
That was the warning of the father of Grant Ronnebeck, who was shot and killed two years ago by an illegal immigrant who was out on bail at the time for burglary.

Ronnebeck was working as a convenience store clerk on January 22, 2015, in Mesa, Arizona, when Apolinar Altamirano, 29, entered the premises, dumped a pocketful of change on the counter and demanded a pack of cigarettes.
The 21-year-old Ronnebeck apparently didn’t move fast enough for Altamirano, who pulled a gun out and shot the clerk in the face, killing him instantly.

His father, Steve Ronnebeck, told Fox Business Network’s Charles Payne that this wasn’t an isolated incident.
“This isn’t just a one time thing,” Grant’s father said. “This is every day.”
“Sanctuary cities is just inviting that crime to their neighborhoods, to their streets,” Ronnebeck said. “They’re inviting the chance for this to happen to their children.”
“It’s not worth it,” Ronnebeck concluded.
This week Congress is poised to vote on Grant’s Law, named after Ronnebeck, which would keep all violent criminal aliens in custody until deported.
