“America is back!”
That was the big story to be taken away from President Trump’s first trip abroad, according to syndicated columnist Charles Krauthammer.

Krauthammer, who has never been an enthusiastic Trump supporter, said that although he appreciated the symbolism of the president’s visit to the “three great religions,” it was his Saudi Arabian stop that held special significance.
Look, I understand the theme of the three great religions, trying to tie them all together to make it look somewhat nonpolitical, but the real story is not the Vatican, it’s not even the Israeli trip,” Krauthammer said on Fox News Channel’s “Special Report” Wednesday.
“Getting these 50 Sunni nations lined up with Saudi Arabia behind us…this is a new day in the Middle East and it’s gonna have reverberations,” he continued.
“It’s a new Middle East right now, America is back, that’s the story and the consequences are gonna be immense,” Krauthammer concluded.
