Trump orders federal agencies to set TVs to Fox News only, instead of CNN – talk about getting the last laugh

President Trump ordered federal agencies to switch their television channels from CNN to Fox News on Friday, further highlighting his distaste for the left-leaning outlet he often calls “fake news.”

The news first hit social media when BuzzFeed reporter Julia Reinstein tweeted out a copy of the internal email released from the White House.

“The reason for the change is that a decision from the current administration administrative officials has requested that all monitors, under our control, on the White Oak Campus, display FOX news,” read the email, forwarded by an employee that oversees digital displays in the office. “Sorry for the inconvenience, but I am unable to change any of the monitors to any other news source at this time.”

The move comes just days after all of the mainstream media networks, excluding Fox News, refused to run president Trump’s “100 Days” political ad. CNN indicated that they would not run the ad unless the graphic “FAKE NEWS” was removed.

The Wall Street Journal reported:

Fox News is seen as more friendly to President Donald Trump than its cable rivals, and the change had sparked questions from FDA employees, some of whom are worried about the political shift in Washington. The FDA’s TV monitors typically have split screens, with half announcing FDA news such as upcoming scientific or regulatory lectures. The other half showed CNN, at least until a week ago, when the hallway monitors were switched to Fox.

Liberals across social media are losing their minds over the president’s latest move:

Some are so offended by Trump’s order, they are comparing changing the channel on a television to what Hitler did in Nazi, Germany.
