Turns out, Chuck Schumer isn’t the only Democrat playing big fat hypocrite on the manufactured controversy involving Attorney General Jeff Sessions.
Now, Nancy Pelosi is getting a taste of her own medicine.
First, Schumer was called out by none other than President Trump for hobnobbing with Russian President Vladimir Putin in 2003. Since under the current hysterical political climate anyone who looks in a Russian leader’s direction with anything but dagger eyes is supposed to be investigated post-haste, Trump demanded a little consistency for Schumer.
As for Pelosi, in an interview with Politico’s Anna Palmer and Jake Sherman on Friday morning, the Democratic House Minority Leader made it abundantly clear that she had never met with Russian ambassador Sergey Kislyak.
When asked about it, Pelosi says she meant a private meeting, not in a group, or something.
“Of course, that’s what she meant,” Pelosi spokesman Drew Hammill told Politico. “She has never had a private one-on-one with him.”
Problem is, Sessions didn’t meet with Kislyak one-on-one either, but none of that has stopped the Democratic daggers from coming out.
Yeah, President Trump isn’t having any of THIS nonsense.
