Talk about getting an earful about Trump.
A Pittsburgh man is recovering after a piece of his ear was bitten off by a roommate following a heated argument over President Donald Trump.
Victim Marco Ortiz, 30, told police his roommate bit his ear off at 6:45 a.m. Monday after the two started arguing over Trump. It’s unclear if Ortiz is a Trump supporter, but his roommate is an anti-Trumper who got worried that he might be deported under a Trump Administration.
Ortiz said his roommate, whose name is being withheld by police, violently twisted his finger, tore off a piece of his ear with his teeth, and threatened to kill him and others.
“Anytime he’s drinking, he’s going crazy,” Ortiz told CBS News Pittsburgh. “All he would say is, ‘If Donald Trump’s gonna take me out I gotta kill so many people. Then somebody kill me and I am happy.’”
The victim ran to a nearby gas station for help after being attacked. Police later recovered the bitten-off chunk of Ortiz’s ear. Ortiz was taken to a local hospital, where he’s in stable condition.
Police say they know who the perpetrator is but wouldn’t release his name. Based on his crazed reaction, it’s likely the perp is an illegal alien.
Pittsburgh, a heavily Democratic city, is considering declaring itself a “sanctuary city.” Shockingly, there are more than 200 sanctuary cities in the United States that ignore federal law by refusing to prosecute illegal aliens or report them to immigration services.
Meanwhile, Twitter reacted to the ear-biting incident in its usual joking fashion.
