‘It’s about to get real, folks!’ Trump arrives in D.C. for Inauguration and Twitter is ON FIRE with anticipation

Less that 24 hours before Donald Trump will be sworn in as the 45th President of the United States and Barack Obama becomes a former president, Washington is jacked with energy.

And nowhere was that more apparent than on social media.

“It’s about to get real folks!!!” Twitter user Jennifer Woodruff posted Thursday along with the hashtag #TrumpInaguration.

Speaking of the #TrumpInauguration hashtag, it seems to want to trend on Twitter, but mysteriously keeps dropping off the trend list — though #NationalPopcornDay is holding strong.

Fox News reported on Trump arriving Thursday in Washington, showing his plane as it lands:

…and showed the president-elect and wife, Melania, the soon-to-be first lady, depart from the plane, along with his family:

The first order of business for Trump was a lucnheon at his D.C. hotel, where Melania Trump addressed the room:
