Trump wants intel to ‘APOLOGIZE’ for mistake; thanks Bob Woodward for defending his ‘right to be upset’

Celebrated Washington Post reporter Bob Woodward jumped in to defend President-elect Donald Trump’s reaction to the ”garbage document that was released by BuzzFeed News and referred to by CNN.

Woodward was praised by the soon-to-be president in return.

Appearing on Fox News Channel’s “Fox News Sunday,” Woodward told host Chris Wallace that the dossier, as an unfounded allegation, should never have been released.

“I’ve lived in this world for 45 years where you get things and people make allegations. That is a garbage document. It never should have been presented as part of an intelligence briefing,” he said. “Trump’s right to be upset about that.”

He added that the intelligence chiefs should apologize for releasing the document.

Trump appreciated Woodward for going to bat for him, and used his favorite medium to do it, Twitter, in a two-tweet statement.
