Marriage proposal goes horribly wrong as woman falls off the stage the moment he pops the question

If you going to pull off a public marriage proposal, you’d better have your ducks in a row, especially if someone is going to record it. Ring … check. Raucous crowd ready to cheer when she says yes … check. Deal with the DJ to stop the music and allow you to use a mic to drop the question … check. Making sure your girlfriend doesn’t fall off the stage when you pop the question … uh, not so much.

Endyugi Soedarsono was at a Dallas music festival (based on the video we’re not sure if she was a dancer or an attendee) when her boyfriend, Jeff Jackson, began the romantic process of proposing to her. What happened next is the stuff of legend, and viral videos for the person lucky enough to get it recorded.

Colton Carlyle recorded the whole thing, including Soedarsono’s fall, and posted it to Facebook, where it got over 330,000 views.

In the comments, Carlyle assured his followers that there was, indeed, a happy ending to the whole thing. The reason the first video isn’t so abruptly was because he put his phone down to help Soedarsono. He then picked it back up to record a successful proposal – successful meaning both an answer of yes and no tumbles off-stage!
