Tiger Woods dishes on what it was like to hang with Donald Trump, and his ‘impressive’ golf game

If you ever get the chance to ask him about his game, Donald Trump will tell you he’s a solid golfer, and it would be smart to believe him.

After all, the man does own 17 golf courses around the world, including Trump International Golf Club in West Palm Beach, Florida, where the President-elect hit the links on December 23 with the single American most qualified to accurately analyze his golf game – Tiger Woods.

On Thursday, Tiger blogged about several things going on in his life, including his charitable foundation, his slow but steady comeback to competitive golf, and his time playing with our future president:

I recently played with President-elect Donald Trump. What most impressed me was how far he hits the ball at 70 years old. He takes a pretty good lash.

Gary Wiren, the senior director of instruction for all of Trump’s courses, wrote of Trump’s ability, “The lowest amateur round at Trump International Golf Club in West Palm Beach, Fla., isn’t held by some hotshot with a seven-figure trust fund, but by the course’s 64-year-old owner — a smooth 66 from the gold tees at a length of 6,900 yards. Yep, Donald Trump is that good…”
