Drudge posted a later update claiming the distributed denial of service (DDoS) attack attack lasted around 90 minutes. Suspiciously, it came only hours after the White House expelled 35 “Russian intelligence operatives” from the country in a retaliatory measure against the Russian government, and only minutes after several reports alleged Russian state-run news network RT became unavailable on television in some areas of the United States.

The International Business Times also confirms that RT was down for a while.
