In what is being described as the candidate’s “last, best effort,” Donald Trump will air a final two-minute ad to seal the deal with voters in the 2016 presidential election.
Seizing on the populist appeal of his candidacy, Trump appeals directly to the American people in his closing pitch.
“Our movement is about replacing the failed and corrupt political establishment with a new government controlled by you, the American people,” he says in the ad.
Trump concludes his message with another appeal to the folks.
“The only thing that can stop this corrupt machine is you,” Trump says. “The only force strong enough to save our country is us… The only people brave enough to vote out this corrupt establishment is you, the American people.”
The ad will air during over the weekend during NFL, NCAA, and NASCAR events and in TV markets in battleground states like Florida, Pennsylvania, Nevada, Ohio, Michigan, Colorado, Iowa, North Carolina, and New Mexico, according to the campaign.
