The editors at The Washington Free Beacon located 20-year-old video of then first lady Hillary Clinton defending herself against “an avalanche of serious charges and sharp criticism” alleging that she was “a congenital liar.”
Barbara Walters interviewed Clinton for a January 12, 1996 broadcast of ABC News’ “20/20” when she wads a program co-host.
“How did you get in this mess,” Walters asked. “Your credibility is being questioned.”
Clinton’s response? First she laughed (cackled). Sound familiar? It should.
Then, “Oh, I ask myself that every day.”
