Is Donald Trump a feminist? Of all the possibilities, that was the question Elite Daily writer Alexandra Svokos posed to former New York City Mayor and huge Trump supporter Rudy Giuliani Monday night after the debates.
Giuliani paused and answered the question with a resounding “absolutely sure,” specifically because of Trump’s history of promoting women into key positions within the Trump Organization, including president of his company. After all, if you didn’t believe that women were as capable as men, why would you put your own money and organization on the line?
And one thing’s for sure – Trump’s not doing it to be politically correct!
But ‘America’s Mayor’ decided to take it a step further, noting that Hillary Clinton is “too stupid to be president” because of all the extramarital affairs she has put up with, particularly the one with former White House intern Monica Lewinsky that almost got him removed from office.
Giuliani thinks Trump was “too gentlemanly” when challenged by Clinton for loving “beauty contests,” and said he would have in turn attacked Clinton on the Lewinsky issue.
“I sure would’ve talked about what she did to Monica Lewinsky, what that woman standing there did to Monica Lewinsky, trying to paint her as an insane young woman when in fact Monica Lewinsky was an intern,” Giuliani said. “The president of the United States, her husband, disgraced this country with what he did in the Oval Office and she didn’t just stand by him, she attacked Monica Lewinsky. And after being married to Bill Clinton for 20 years, if you didn’t know the moment Monica Lewinsky said that Bill Clinton violated her that she was telling the truth, then you’re too stupid to be president.”
Bill Clinton, of course, was alleged to have attacked and tried to silence Lewinsky as rumors of her sexual interactions with the then-president were coming to light. He even called her a “narcissistic loony toon.”
So much for respecting women!
For his part, Trump chose not to go after Clinton on the Lewinsky affair or any of Bill’s other dalliances with WOTH (Women Other Than Hillary), out of respect for their daughter, Chelsea, who was in the audience.
