With it being time to put another Democrat in the White House, former “Daily Show” host Jon Stewart came “back from the dead” last week to do his bit to help set the proper tone — See Hillary Clinton — in pop culture.
Stewart took temporary control of “The Late Show,” with host Stephen Colbert’s blessing, and proceeded to eviscerate Fox News host Sean Hannity for his spirited support of Donald Trump, noting how Hannity gives the GOP nominee a pass on many of the same issues he has criticized President Barack Obama over.
It didn’t help matters that Stewart referred to the Fox News host as “Lumpy.”
“Either Lumpy and his friends are lying about being bothered by thin-skinned authoritarian less-than-Christian readers of prompter being president, or they don’t care, as long as it’s their thin-skinned prompter authoritarian tyrant narcissist,” he said.
Well, Hannity fired back with a vengeance Friday on his radio show.
“I see they brought that idiot Jon Stewart back from the dead,” he said of Stewart’s attack on him.
“Attack me all you want,” Hannity added. “I was right about Obama and you were a fool who had your head so far up Obama’s ass, Jon Stewart. I’ve never seen anybody kiss an ass like you kiss his.”
And he was just getting started, telling Stewart the country’s not better off under Obama and asking the “rich liberal” if he’ll be “helping out the 50 million Americans in poverty?”
“Hey Jon, are you going to use your wealth from all of your comedy writers that lay out the material for you?” Hannity added. “Are you going to help pay down the debt Obama has accumulated?”
