President Obama is, to paraphrase Bernie Sanders, getting sick and tired of hearing about Hillary Clinton’s emails.
He’s also getting tired of answering questions about them.
At a press conference Thursday in Japan, Obama said he would take one more question from reporters. But the question thrown at him concerned the former secretary of state’s private email server.
“You know I take it back — I’m not taking another question,” Obama said. “We’re in Japan. Don’t you have something to do with Asia that we want to talk about? I’ll be talking about this in Washington the whole time.”
Then he made it clear he wasn’t about to weigh in on the subject.
“I’ve already said a lot on those issues,” he said “I think these are better directed to the campaign.”
Earlier this week the State Department Inspector General released his report confirming that Clinton violated federal rules when she used a private email server to conduct official business while serving as secretary of state.
