Sen. Ted Cruz’s vice presidential pick ripped Donald Trump during an MSNBC interview Wednesday, referring to him as a crony capitalist who is not representative of the Republican Party.
“It is that system of crony capitalism and insider dealing that is leeching the prosperity and opportunity and potential of this nation,” the former Hewlett Packard CEO told MSNBC’s Hallie Jackson.
When asked whether Trump was correct in his claim that Hillary Clinton is playing the gender card, she turned it around on the real estate mogul.
“I think Donald Trump clearly has a problem with women,” she said. “The week we had a terrorist attack in Brussels, he attacked Heidi Cruz.”
