The Florida state attorney declined to prosecute Corey Lewandowski on criminal charges.
According to former Breitbart reporter Michelle Fields, the alleged victim, the state attorney was to have contacted her before making any public statement.
Fields filed the criminal complaint following a campaign event during which Lewandowski had allegedly grabbed her arm and yanked her back.
She tweeted:
Prosecutor’s office told me they would inform me of decision tomorrow. If reports true, guess they decided to leak to reporters first. Ugly.

Fields had earlier said that she’d be fine with a simple apology from Lewandowski — that deal apparently never materialized.
For those asking, office of prosecutor asked 2 weeks ago if I’d be ok with an apology from Corey. I said ya but haven’t heard back about it
