‘Pure propaganda’: Firestorm when NBC props up proven liar Nathan Phillips for ‘forgiving’ students

The mainstream media continue to prop up liar, convicted criminal and pseudo Vietnam War veteran Nathan Phillips as a terrorized victim, never mind the contradictory facts.

Case in point: Following an interview with the Native American deceiver this Thursday morning, NBC News published an outrageous piece titled, “Nathan Phillips, Native American activist in D.C. standoff, forgives Catholic school students.”

It’s unclear what he forgives them for, given as the Covington Catholic High School kids whom he confronted and started drama with — and whom the media smeared — did nothing wrong.

Now read the first paragraph of NBC’s misleading report: “Nathan Phillips, the Native American activist who was stared down by a Kentucky Catholic school student as he beat a hand drum during a tense moment in Washington, D.C., said he is now able to forgive those who were involved.”

False. Video evidence shows that Phillips, an adult, approached the kids while loudly banging a drum and then proceeded to stare down Covington student Nick Sandmann as the boy stood politely with a smile.

But as disingenuous as NBC’s report happens to be, it pales in comparison to Phillips’ deception and appalling lack of remorse for his own misdeeds.

During the NBC interview, he reiterated again about hearing the kids chant “build the wall,” despite hours of video footage that hasn’t been able to corroborate his accusation.

 

Then he attacked Sandmann for having stood up for himself:

 

Then he said Sandmann needs to apologize to the world for something (being white maybe?):

 

And after all this trash-talking, he said that he forgives Sandmann and his peers.

“Even though I’m angry, I still have that forgiveness in my heart for those students” he said, adding in regard to Sandmann specifically, “I forgive him.”

That’s right, liar Nathan Phillips forgives the teen boy for, one, defending himself against the racist taunts of a group of hateful Black Hebrew Israelites (whom Phillips defended, by the way), and two, standing politely in front of him with a smile while he banged his drums like a thug.

Charming fellow.

The only thing that remains unclear is whom the denizens of social media plan to condemn more harshly: Phillips himself or the network that Michelle Malkin refers to as “Nothing But Crap”:

The lies never seem to end with NBC.

“The activist clarified Thursday that he was a Marines reservist during the Vietnam War, but didn’t serve in Vietnam. Some reports have said he served overseas in the war,” the network reported.

Wrong again. It’s not that “[s]ome reports have said he served overseas in the war” — it’s that Phillips himself, an established liar, said it point-blank just a year ago.

HERE’S WHAT YOU’RE MISSING …

“I’m a Vietnam Vet. I served in Marine Corps 72 to 76. I got discharged May 5, 1976. I got honorable discharge and one of the boxes shows peacetime or, what my box says is that I was in theater. I don’t talk much about my Vietnam times,” he bluntly said in a Facebook video last January.

NBC News and its peers in the liberal media have also neglected to mention Phillips’ criminal history.

“In his own teenage years and early 20s, Phillips, using his adoptive name Nathaniel R. Stanard, was charged with escaping from prison, assault, and several alcohol-related crimes, according to local news reports at the time from his hometown of Lincoln, Neb,” the Washington Examiner reported.

According to the leftist media, Phillips is an angelic figure who was bullied by a group of 15- to 17-year-old teenage boys. But according to everybody with eyes and ears, he’s this:
