Rush Limbaugh’s unpredictable Bo Snerdley takes on NFL protests and white privilege – you’ve gotta hear this!

James Golden is best known as “Bo Snerdley,” the pseudonym for Rush Limbaugh’s call screener, and he is a clever, independent and strategic commentator whose views can be unpredictable, yet passionate.

Golden spoke freely on his two “triggers” that upset him: People who criticize his boss and this NFL #TakeAKnee controversy.

Although a loyal fan of the NFL since childhood, this protest of the National Anthem may cause him to not watch football this season, he said in an exclusive video interview with The Daily Caller News Foundation.

“These multi-millionaire, very sensitive, highly-educated, well-versed in history football players taking a knee for social justice is supposed to be acceptable while praying to our God Almighty, creator of the universe and all in it, including this beautiful, prosperous nation, is verboten,” Golden said, comparing it to what happened when former NFL quarterback Tim Tebow knelt in prayer.

Golden said that President Donald Trump had every right to weigh in on the NFL. He was most surprised by team owners that decided to “line up against their fans, or a portion of their fan base, deciding that alienating some of the most patriotic people in the country makes good sense for a national sports league, and lining up behind some players that, in some cases, one wonders if they even know what they’re protesting about.”

“It’s all very stange,” he said.

Golden added that Rush Limbaugh, “the most prescient predictor of fortunes in history,” predicted that the NFL was headed for trouble years ago as he watched insidious political influences seep into football.

To Golden, the NFL-led protest stands in stark contrast to the true achievements of former American athletes like Jackie Robinson or Hank Aaron, who stood tall with class and dignity in the face of hostile social pressures.

He claimed that the condemnation of excessive policing is real and nuanced, not knee-jerked, but he was also careful to not disrespect law enforcement, which is often the only protection against anarchy in rough neighborhoods. Golden said, however, that this does not negate the problems springing up that must be addressed.

When asked if America will ever get over the sin of slavery, Golden said it will only come when society is intelligent enough to know that just because the nation was founded with that sin, it doesn’t negate the wonder of a self-correcting system of government that liberated blacks and women with time.

After all, he said, it’s not just whites that are privileged, because sometimes it is a privilege to be black, such as being the children of Jay-Z or the Kardashians. People are always born with privileges that others don’t have, he said, and sometimes the privilege of money can actually be a curse, depending on your moral upbringing.

“Some people have the privilege of being born to good, decent, moral parents who pass along a moral code to be a good, decent, giving human being. Whether you are poor or rich, you live your life rich anyway because you understand the true blessings of in life and the true blessings of God. That’s a privilege,” Golden said.

Finally, Golden called the Republican Congress “pathetic” for having begged for power in the House, Senate and White House to repeal Obamacare, and “then, this is what we get? Imagine what the Democrats would do with this trifecta. Look at what they do without it, and then look at us our side.”
