New Black Panther leader makes a pitch for Trump; Dems are ‘big pimps, pimping us like prostitutes’

Despite media outlets’ criticism of Donald Trump’s efforts to reach out to the African-American community, those endeavors are bearing fruit — and in unexpected places.

New Black Panther leader Quanell X appeared on Fox 26 Houston earlier this week to discuss the Republican presidential nominee’s appearance in Milwaukee following the fatal shooting of a young armed black man by a police officer.

The shooting resulted in two days of rioting, arson and looting, after which Trump said he had a better idea.

“Let me say this to the brothers and sisters who listened and watched that speech. We may not like the vessel that said what he said, but I ask us to truly examine what he said,” he said on the station’s “Fox Faceoff” before giving the viewers a history lesson.

“Because it is a fact that for 54 years we have been voting for the Democratic Party like no other race in America. And they have not given us the same loyalty and love that we have given them. We, as black people, have to reexamine the relationship. We’re being pimped like prostitutes and they’re the big pimps pimping us politically, promising us everything and we get nothing in return. We gotta step back now as black people and we gotta look at all the parties and vote our best interests.”

AM 740 KTRH NewsRadio show host Matt Patrick agreed, and added that the media are dismissing Trump as “a horrific individual” without hearing him out.

Quanell X implied that President Obama may be the biggest pimp in his party.

“I want to say and encourage the brothers and sisters, Barack Obama, our president, served two terms,” he said. “[He was] the first black president ever, but did our condition get better? Did financially, politically, academically with education in our community — did things get better? … The condition got worse.”

Quanell X closed with an observation often touted by Republicans — self-reliance.

“No politician can save the black community,” he said. “We gotta do it ourselves.”
