Progressive radio personality Stephanie Miller took political fandom to a bizarre new level after boasting online that she literally kissed the shoes of Democratic Texas Rep. Jasmine Crockett.
Crockett has emerged as a leading voice among Democrats, positioning herself as one of the party’s most aggressive critics of President Donald Trump as she signals she might expand her influence with a potential Senate bid. Her growing prominence reached a high point over the weekend when liberal radio host Miller gushed on social media that she kissed Crockett’s sneakers.
“Why, yes, I DID kiss the sneakers of @JasmineForUS and I DO worship the ground she walks on! And she was LOVELY about it! 🤣,” Miller wrote.

Miller’s long record of loyalty to the Democratic establishment has been well-documented. She has publicly praised party leaders like former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, saying on social media that she’s “the best there ever was,” alongside a photo of the two smiling together. She also joined Hollywood activists at the No Kings Rally.
Yet the self-described progressive’s behavior invited scrutiny, given her past attacks on Trump supporters. In a February 2024 post, she touted a segment dissecting conservatives’ blind devotion to Trump.
Crockett has been leading the Democrats in their most combative exchanges with Republicans, becoming one of the party’s loudest and most visible Trump critics both in Congress and online. She frequently tangles with GOP lawmakers during high-profile hearings. Crockett sparked outrage in March after she referred to Republican Texas Gov. Greg Abbott, who uses a wheelchair, as “Governor Hotwheels.”
