Ted Nugent tunes up ‘homosexual weirdo’ Zelenskyy in ‘fire-breathing’ Trump Waco rally warmup

While Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy may be a global rock star on the world stage, a real rock and roller begged to differ, and on Saturday afternoon, the legendary Ted Nugent tuned up the bossy beggar during his warm-up for former President Donald J. Trump’s rally in Waco, Texas.

The legendary rocker and pro-Second Amendment activist may now be 74 years old but still puts on a heck of a show and he certainly didn’t disappoint those in the crowd who had turned out early for Trump’s address which considering his ongoing battle with Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg, was expected to be a doozy.

Nugent, who is an outspoken Trump supporter was jamming away during his set when he began riffing on politics, specifically taxes, President Joe Biden’s foreign policy debacle in Afghanistan where he surrendered Kabul to the Taliban while leaving billions in military hardware behind as a gift to the Islamic terrorist group and the situation in Ukraine, a wartorn sucking money pit that Washington D.C. continues to shovel billions of dollars into when the funds could be better spent on real problems right here in America.

And he reserved the harshest words for the Ukrainian leader who he didn’t mention by name.

“I want my money back! I didn’t authorize any money to Ukraine to some homosexual weirdo!” Nugent ranted about the scruffy ingrate. “I want my money back!”

What exactly the Motor City madman was referring to that would give him the idea that Zelenskyy – who is married to a woman – is a homosexual is anybody’s guess as the heroic savior of western democracy has never come out as being gay.

Also during his time onstage, Nugent led a “moment of silence” for the January 6th political prisoners who are being held in deplorable conditions in a special D.C. jail that some have likened to a Chinese gulag where they are isolated, beaten and according to some accounts, tortured. He also churned out some of his greatest hits including “Stranglehold,” perhaps his most enduring classic from his self-titled 1975 solo debut album.

On Friday, “The Nuge” teased his opening act for the main attraction on Twitter, promising to play a “firebreathing” rendition of the national anthem to mark the occasion.

“I will unleash a firebreathing Star-Spangled Banner with the great president Donald Trump at the Waco regional airport tomorrow at 2PM! McLennan county is the epicenter of conservative American Dream spirit/values! See you there patriots,” Nugent wrote.

Nugent’s scorching set was a real crowd pleaser with one of those who came away impressed being Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) who was in Texas for Trump’s rally.

“@TedNugent kicked ass playing the National Anthem at the Trump rally!’ MTG tweeted, posing with the man himself.

While he will likely never achieve the level of guitar skills as Nugent, the Ukrainian strongman has been known for doing some strumming of his own.

Zelenskyy will likely get a much better reception at a Live Aid-style mega-concert being planned for this summer at London’s Wembley Stadium with some of the participating artists rumored to be the Rolling Stones, Pink, and U2 whose bleeding heart frontman Bono has a man crush on Zelensky as he showed when he penned a poem in his honor which was read by former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi who pegged the cringe-meter during a St. Patrick’s day celebration last year in Washington D.C.

Nugent, who wears his patriotism on his sleeve, definitely has staying power, one of the most iconic rockers of the golden age of guitar gods in the 1970’s, Terrible Ted cranked out hit after hit including “Cat Scratch Fever,” “Stormtroopin,” “Snakeskin Cowboys,” “Motor City Madhouse,” “Yank Me, Crank Me,” and “Wang Dang Sweet Poontang” as well as constantly toured the country to back his series of smash albums, one of them being “Double Live Gonzo” the two LP concert set where he also dipped into his archives as a member of the Amboy Dukes for epic versions of “Great White Buffalo” and “Hibernation.”

And five decades later, he still hasn’t let up.
